he looks really great man, this is super sculpy? ive been meaning to try it, ive got firm and regular sitting in my room, but im waiting for something to inspire me before i start.

Yes, it's very good to work with, great for detailing and getting it to stay where you want it to.

yeah its a bugger when you use a soft material and accidently destroy something like an eye by the slightest jolt of your finger tip.
especially in the heat!

ive not used it as i said, but will i require making a armature?

Yes, it's generally tougher than normal clay but it will not hold under it's own weight. It doesn't dry until you bake it either.

The closest I can come to describing it is "carveable rubber". :D

oooooh carveable rubber sounds neat as!!
how well does it take to being carved and chipped after its been baked?
would you use sand paper afterwards to make it smooth, or would you accidently break bits off when your chipping?

important bits!

I would usually complete the work to my satisfaction before baking, I have heard of other sculptors working this clay after baking however, so it can be done.

As I say, it's not how I work so I can't really offer any more info on after baking work. :)
